This year, the Lackawanna Historical Society is marking the 100th anniversary of its headquarters, the Catlin House. For a century, this building has existed as a symbol of our industrial and cultural heritage. We are very fortunate to have it as the home of our organization, housing many treasures that tell the story of our shared past. After that amount of time, we are now faced with a serious need to upgrade the electrical system throughout the house. Mr. Robert Huylo of H.S.A. Associates, has conducted a study of the current electrical system and has estimated the project cost to be $523,180.

Therefore, Saving the Catlin House for Tomorrow is the objective of the capital campaign we are initiating.

Please consider a gift to the Society and forward your response in the enclosed self addressed envelope.

Your gift is needed and will be greatly appreciated. The Society is a 501(C)3 organization and your contribution is fully tax deductible in accordance with Pennsylvania state law.
