Among the records are valuable first-hand accounts and primary source materials for those seeking to learn about the history and heritage of our area from various standpoints. Whether you’re looking for in-depth material for a book or paper or you’re curious about a local landmark or your grandfather’s business, the LHS library is here to help.

Members may use the Society library at any time during regular business hours; non-members may use it for a fee of five dollars per day. On-site personnel are available to assist those who walk in, email, write, or phone for help with inquiries. Society researchers will respond to written requests for a base fee of $25 plus a copy fee. To obtain help with your research, you may download and mail in our Research Request Form or click here for other contact information.
